| Euricka is New Orleans FIRST FEMALE HIP HOP/R&B SOLO ARTIST to land strong on the industry map. Euricka The originator of the unique sound R&B Bounce Music has been on the scene gaining fans all over the globe, with performances in Japan and Germany as well as the United States. Having recently completed her 2009 "Diva Life" tour within the Eastern and Southern regions successfully ended on a high note in the sunny State of California. Groomed at an early age, while growing up Euricka's talents were not inspired solely on the R&B music she listened to as a child. She prides most of her energetic gutsy style from past experiences of living in a latch key environment with her five siblings. Euricka's single Mother lovingly raised them the best way she knew how in one of the toughest housing developments in New Orleans, known as the Calliope Housing Projects. Euricka's strong vocals and no nonsense stage presence was first nurtured while singing in daily church services. Her Grandmother, an Ordained Minister, encouraged Euricka and her Sister 's and Brothers to attend Bible Study with hopes of protecting them from an on going gang violence that had plagued their community. Eventually, this gang violence would spark a new nickname for the City of New Orleans that we still say today "The Murder Capitol." She has commanded a following of loyal fans male and female alike from every corner of the U.S. in all walks of life who've been known to mention that her strong independent stage presence oddly reminds them of being in church. Euricka has interpreted her persona on stage as "Diva Life or "Female Baller." When first meeting this independent Diva one would not expect her to have humbling characteristics that privately her family and close friends are familiar with. This singing sensation has now gained respect in the Hip Hop community with her music and likeness appearing in countless Hood DVDs and mix tapes. In 2008 Euricka took home the Underground Music Award for Best R&B Female Artist and became 1st place winner at the Annual New York A&R Power Summit. She's an incredible talent with limitless abilities in Pop, Hip Hop, Rap and R&B. This natural beauty has said "money nor looks will determine the out come of my career it will be my love for music and determination that will secure me a place in the music industry."
